The youngest players spend the first fifteen minutes of practice chasing the ball in small groups. Coaches call it a fundamentals session, but the children know it as the part where nobody is keeping score.

The league changed its format after parents said beginners were often placed beside experienced players and expected to catch up immediately. The new structure gives new players space to learn while keeping teams connected.

Registration remains open through the end of the month. Organizers say they are especially looking for volunteer assistant coaches who can make practices feel welcoming for families new to organized sports.
