The art fair's new layout is built around a simple request from vendors: give people enough room to stop. Last year, crowded aisles made it difficult to look closely at work or have a real conversation with the person who made it.
This year's map spreads artists across two blocks and adds a shaded area for demonstrations. The goal is not to make the event bigger for its own sake, but to make the time spent there feel less hurried.
More than forty artists are expected, including several first-time vendors from the county. Organizers say the fair has become an important first sales opportunity for makers who do not yet have a permanent storefront.
